"Fify-four elevens, size 7 in girls" - DMX

Yassssss! The Reebok Freestyle sneaker for women was introduced in the 80s. The shoe’s nickname (54/11s) originated in New York City from the total price of the shoe which was $49.99 retail, $54.11 with tax.
This comfortable shoe has been seen on the red carpet under ball gowns, on commuters’ feet as they scurried to work, and on determined women in aerobic classes adorned with slouch socks, fuzzy headbands, and leotards. This shoe is timeless!  As you can see from these pictures, it is still in style today!
These shoes (especially in a pop color) complete a laidback look that includes a t-shirt and slim fitting jeans/leggings.  Click here to view different colors and variations of this shoe.
